Level Control Vent Assemblies

The level Control Vent Assembly controls the shut-off of fuel in the tank, and allows for proper venting of the tank.  Both open vented and poppet vented units are offered with 2” NPT or -32 mounting threads.  Spacers are used to adjust the level inside the tank.

Poppet Vents for Side Slope Operation

Shaw also offers poppet level control vent assemblies for severe side slope operation vehicles.  These vents have a cracking pressure of .5 psi to prevent fuel from sloshing out of the tank on side slopes.  Use of this vent with the Shaw shut-off will introduce a small amount of pressure to the tank during fill and is not recommended for fabric bladder cells.
