Our most recent contracts for fluid systems are described below, a lubrication system for a hovercraft application and a fuel system for a military vehicle.

 

Lubrication System

Shaw Development under contract to a major engine manufacturer supplied an entire engine gearbox lubrication system including pumps, coolers, tanks, hoses, associated sensors and electronics. The entire system was designed using mil-spec components for the harsh environmental operating conditions.

The system was designed by Shaw Development engineers and combined a mixture of custom designed, off-the-shelf, and purchased components. Shaw provided this system on time and under budget.

Shaw Development supplied this fuel system after demonstrating our ability to improve the existing tank design for this application. Shaw Development took responsibility for the entire tier 1 design and installation contracting products and components as necessary. This customer received a complete turn key system which met his goals and reduced his engineering effort and possible problems associated with a lack of specific fuel system engineering knowledge or experience.
